Company/Group Consolidation
The Consolidation module allows the creation of a consolidated view of financial data for a group of companies. The consolidation is executed using the Consolidation wizard, which creates a new Consolidated client.
The Consolidation wizard is accessible from the File/Consolidation Wizard and enables you to:
Create a Group Consolidated Company
Select the companies to be consolidated.
Choose the consolidation currency (utilized when the multi-currency module is purchased).
Establish a Consolidated Chart of Accounts
The functionality of the Consolidated Client is accessible from the Client Folder, and the features for individual and Group Clients are identical.
If companies are configured in Sage in different currencies, or if the consolidated currency differs from the currency set up in Sage, exchange rates must be set up first.
